For Knowledge!

It was just another day at Zenori High of Olivia watching her students carry out the tasks she provided for them. She was a relatively new teacher which is why she was no less than excited as she walked around the room looking over there assignments as they worked. Though she was rather skilled in the subject of the the visual arts it was not her preferred choice to teach. Regardless, she was more than enthusiastic to teach it to the youth.

After minutes of walking about she found her way back to the head desk. There should could quietly read while the students worked. It was quite a calm way to pass the time.

Oh, the magazine...

The thought came to her as swiftly as any other as she opened her desk and produced a gaming magazine that was recommended earlier in the day by one of her students. She wasn't one to partake in such activities but in her haste to be on time she had already promised to look it over and she made sure she'd keep it.

It was a sound of familiarity that somehow stung with a foreign tune that had snapped Olivia out of her trance; that 'end of the day' tune. It would seem that she had somehow lost herself within the pages of the gaming magazine. Without a second thought she would lay the booklet down and stand to her feet while her class filed out of the room.

"Don't forget, there will be a test tomorrow so study up!"

With that said she would begin to pack up her supplies and be on her way out of the school.

[The Next Day]

It had been approximately six minutes since the bell that signified the beginning of class had rang as Olivia finally pulled into the the parking lot of Zenri High. Already being late, she would still gather her things as fast as possible. She didn't see the point in wasting anymore time than she already had.

She’d soon be seen trotting around bystanders in the hallway and into her class where she would be greeted by the sight of her students speaking among one another. It was at that moment when she walked in that the class when break apart a get back in order however.

"Sorry, class, I didn't get much rest yesterday so I overslept. I know this does not excuse me from being late so, because of my mistake, I will be moving today's test up to two days from now."

Olivia spoke while setting up her desk to her usual liking as the children behind her sounded a bit relieved. She didn't know why though since she knew they could easily pass such a test if given today. Maybe it was just one of those lazy days for them. Regardless, she would address her students one more time before tending to the papers on her desk.

"Until then, you are free to study or work on the project assigned to you last week. It will now be due on the same day as the test and is expected to be turned in before you take it. That is all."

Minami was drawing in her sketchbook when her sensei, Ms. Lionheart, walked in. Like always, she was going to start ignoring her in steed of what she was drawing. Though her notebook was usually filled with doodles of anime characters or yaoi type situations, today it was full of rendered drawings of her LEO character, Vermillion Von Rachel Alucard, as well as the Kingdom of Raizen and some of the monsters she had seen.

'Can't wait to get home...I wonder if I'll meet Sun-kun or Snow-kun again...'

She wondered until she heard that the test was being moved to two days away. Then she visibly paled, along with some of the other students, as Ms. Lionheart said the project from last week was due in two days.

'P-p-p-project??? WHAT PROJECT??' She screamed in her head. 'I don't remember her giving us a...SHIT THAT PROJECT!!'

Animated tears fell from Minami's eyes as she remembered the cultural project that they were supposed to do before Christmas on how other countries celebrate Christmas. (Unless you actually had a project thought out. :3) She hadn't been able to work on it because she was pulling extra shifts at the Maid Cafe because a certain MANAGER had been letting some of the other more...well endowed, girls take days off. They would whine to him and he would relent and let them go. In the meantime, Minami and Asahika were left to pull the extra weight.

'It's all that bastards fault!' A flame erupted around Minami as she thought about where on the island she would bury her manager.

*It had already turned to the next day, yet Adam was fully awake. Even still, the young man looked like he was drowsy due to his eyes being half-closed and the daydreaming look he had when coming into class a few minutes later after the teacher. Bowed at the door, heard the teacher's plans for the class in the next two days, then went to go take his seat.

There wasn't much to do on a free day, but this gave Adam the chance to take out a few notebooks and get working on analyzing some data charts, and other business related doings related to the cafe. Business was steady as usual. A few girls were taking the day off, meaning those are working in their stead are getting paid double.*

"Hm... In terms of supplies... I'm going to need Asa-chan to...."

*He'd mumble to himself. Clearly, he was planning something for the cafe.*

Olivia continued about her teaching duties as the students remained relatively silent while they worked. A few glances every now and then were needed to make sure everything remained running smoothly, but other than that she saw no real reason to further address the class or anyone in particular. The only time she felt the need to was towards Adam seeing as he was late to her class yet, considering her own tardiness, she would dismiss it altogether. Still though, she would need to inform him of the news she had already given the others.

"Today's test has been moved up two days, Inaki. The same day as the projects assigned last week."

She spoke happily though one could hear the tiredness in her voice. Nothing that she couldn't handle at the moment, but should be kept in mind. Now, with that done, all she had to do was focus on her work and try not to think about LEO enough to get it done. Unless there were questions that needed answering that is.

Minami couldn't focus on her work. She kept glancing at Adam out of the corner of her eyes and scowling. Between that, she was also drawing more pictures of Leo. Absentmindedly, she drew herself as Vermillion being hugged in between both Snow and Sun. With a bright blush she tore the page out and balled it up before taking a moment to calm down.

'Now that I think about it, why didn't sensei get much sleep last night?' A sly grin found its way onto Minami's face. 'Probably out with her boyfriend. Hehe, they probably did fooly cooly.'

Once again, Minami would blush before taking out her notebook and actually trying to get some work done.

"Can we turn it in early for extra credit, Teach?"

*He'd ask. He was already on top of things, but he didn't want to hang onto the project any longer than he had to. Adam also noted the tired sound coming from the words of his teacher. He just suspected she had a long night, so he wasn't going to cue in a question after response.

Occasionally he'd catch a certain someone scowling at him, oddly enough she also blushed as well. He dismissed it as her being weird again and went back to the charts. Everything was green, so he put his work notebooks away and pulled out a day planner afterwards.*

"Done already are we...? Very well, but I can not guarantee that you will receive extra credit. It will be the effort you put into it that determine if you deserve it or not."

She spoke whilst accepting Adam's assignment. She would then continue working paying no attention to his side glances towards the other students. Her eyes were just too tired to notice.

(Well there's nothing really important that needs to happen right now. We'll save that for the next log off.)

The school bell signaling the end of the day sounded. Tuesday classes were over without a hitch.

*After getting everything done and turned in, the bell had rung signifying the end of class. Adam quickly rose out of his seat in a dramatic, Cromartie High School style fashion. His expression darkened, his eyes widened, but his lips remained closed. He just peered at the notebooks, shocked and awed. This only lasted for a few seconds, as he packed up his notebooks, flung his book bag over his shoulder, then walked off with a blank expression.*

"Later, Teach."

*He'd say casually to Olivia as he strode out of class. Ohohoho... He had plans for the maid cafe indeed. A more... Bloody plan.*
