Snow Rozalyn's Tutorial.

The world around Alvarez began to digitize and fade away, only for him to see white all around. There was the brisk feeling of him falling into empty space, the wind beating against his body. The functionality of the suit began its work and immediately he started to take on the qualities and characteristics his character held.

His slowing descent in the white space herald the coming of more digitalized space. All around him an arena was being constructed, the pieces falling into each other perfectly. Alvarez, no, Snow, was now at the center of the arena.

"Hello, new player!"

A cheerful voice beckoned toward the young man. A woman standing several feet in front of him appeared with burgundy hair, a modest bust, glasses and a green dress.



"My name is Mizuho Kazami, and I will be your sensei for the duration of this tutorial, onegai."

She bowed to him and smiled warmly.

As Snow had heard, the feeling of entering the game would be completely real. It was as if he were being transported to a brand new world. It was amazing, yet he kept his gaze neutral through it all. He was glad he calibrated his character to have minimum transformation. He didn't think he could deal with having buck teeth as well as fluffy ears and a large chipmunk like tale. When everything finally came into view and the young woman spoke, he folded his arms. His character was shirtless with a black tattoo on his body. A small blush formed on his face as he realized his sensei for the tutorial would be a woman.

'I wonder if we'll feel each other...'

He shook the thoughts away and then looked closer at the woman.

"Wait a minute...you're Kazami-sensei from Onegai Sensei...my younger sister adores you. What are you doing here?"

Mizuho smiled brighter and brought a hand over her lips. She'd let out a soft giggle and started to think back on something. A younger girl who simply adored her? While there had been many players in the beta already, one person already stuck out like a sore thumb, though, Kazami-sensei would only allude to her knowing of Snow's alleged younger sister.

"I can't help but remember a young girl who was particularly clingy, it was so adorable!"

She'd say warmly, removing her hand from her face.

"As for what I'm doing here, that's simple. I'm here to introduce you to the world of Lux Eterna!"

(As she announced the robust and expressive opening of Lux Eterna Played to Snow. He'd be introduced to the story of the game, along with other interesting tid-bits that the story alluded to.)

Once the intro was over, Mizuho would have been by Snow's side. Here, she gave him his starter kit, tailored to the choices he picked for his character beforehand. Once he had gained his items, a tutorial Warhog digitized into the world much like how Rozalyn first did.

"Before we can get your journey started, do you think you can complete a small quest for me?"

She'd ask with a confident smile and a cute wink to boot.

Objective: Slay 1 Warhog

From: Mizuho Kazami-Sensei

Details: Kazami-sensei advises all new players to test their battle skills out against a single warhog under her watchful eye. You cannot be killed, but unfortunately you will not gain any exp or receive any items.

Reward: A "Snow Globe" *giggle giggle giggle*.

Snow scratched his head, knowing that her being the sensei for the tutorial still didn't make any sense. Whatever, it was a pretty cool easter egg if you asked him. So after listening to the tutorial and receiving his gear, Snow would make his rapier appear and make several swift swipes with it.

'It feels light...good craftsmanship, but not very powerful...'

"Alright, I'm ready."

Snow said and held the rapier in front of his face, pointing straight up, though his gaze was on the Warhog. He knew how he would kill it already.

*The little porker actually looked passive than most. The small creature innocently walked around, sniffing random spots on the ground and squealing occasionally. The Warhog would look up at Snow every so often, obviously aware of his presence and staying on-guard.*

Snow would look at the creature and sigh. He didn't want to hurt it, seeing as it wasn't bothering him to fight (even though this is a tutorial so it's programmed to fight -_-), but he knew he would have to kill it anyway. Such was the world. Snow would hold up a hand and begin to conjure a flame, however, he would stand and charge the magic instead of attacking right away.

"Forgive me..."

He would whisper.

The Warhog quickly shot its head up, seeing the ball of flame being conjured within Snow's hand. This set it on high alert and without even waiting another moment, the poker started on a gallop toward the man. The beady eyed creature came in quick, but there was something about its speed that just didn't seem right. Warhog lowered its head to prepare a Gore attack

Snow's eyes would seem to flash a deadly color as a dark look adorned his face. Unlike Vermillion, he made no move to get out of the way. As the Warhog would slam into him, he would grab it by one of its tusk, grunting at the damage. With his opposite hand, the one he was charging the spell with, he would punch the Warhog directly in the eye, shoving his hand in and unleashing the spell. The flame would explode directly in front of him and probably blow the Warhog's head to pieces.

Luckily for Snow, this were merely a video game. Had he been attempting something like that in real life, his hand, wrist and arm would have been destroyed by the sheer force that the brute of a Warhog held. When caught, the creature struggled around and attempting to headbutt Snow, as he held it so close. The creature may have been caught and it was a rather weak variant (considering it was a practice Warhog, any real Warhog would have easily broken free), so the young man's brutal, yet flawless motion of attack worked quite well.

Ultimately, the overwhelming attack simply exploded the Warhog's head into a bloody seared mess of what it once was. The aftermath found that Snow was surrounded by a yellow light, that had sprung from the beast's body. He'd feel a serene warmth and the growth due to the experience orb.

"M-My my... That was definitely... Different."

Kazami-sensei said as she slowly clapped at Snow's display. She was a bit frightened, seeing as most people would handle the battle in a traditional way. Fortunately, this proved Snow's innovation and skills at the game, so either way it was a nice show.

"In any case, congrats, Snow-kun! That was an excellent display nonetheless and you have had a taste of the exp from battle. Remember, they're the glowing orbs that drop from each downed enemy. Don't forget to collect any exp or item chests along your journey!"

A brief flash of light shone and a small blue chest would appear. "

"That's a common chest. They sometimes appear after defeating a weaker enemy. They are the chest most commonly found all around Lux Eterna."

The chest would disappear and then a bigger red chest would appear.

"That's a rare chest. They sometimes appear after defeating powerful monsters. They are usually really well hidden around the world and most are only found in dungeons."

Finally, a huge gold chest would take the place of the red chest.

"You probably already guessed it, but this would be a legendary chest. They only appear after secret boss battles and are only found in the most dangerous and difficult of areas."

After her explanation, the chest faded.

"Be warned, Snow-kun, that the monsters out there will be much tougher, including the Warhog you just faced. And sometimes that don't attack alone."

Mizuho smiled warmly again and a gate behind Snow would rise up, letting a shining light blaze into the room.

"Looks like you've completed the tutorial Snow-kun. Oh, and this time I haven't forgotten the reward!"

She announced, pulling out a snow globe with some sort of figure holding a long blade. Mizuho gave it a couple of shakes, giggling softly as she did so when the black looking snow fluttered over the figure.

"Take this Snow Globe with you and may it always remind you of me, Snow-kun!"

Kazami-sensei said happily, handing the item to Snow.

Snow would take the snow globe with a deadpan glare. His visage would soften however, and he would smile very briefly back at Kazami-sensei.

"Thank you for taking time out for me Kazami-sensei, it was a pleasure."

Snow would turn from the woman and walk through the door, prepared to start his adventure in LEO.

"Have fun, 'Snow'!"

She'd say, adding an emphasis on his name and giggling a little more. She'd burst into sparkles of red light, that fluttered out of the arena just as fast as Snow left.
