Scouting Out The Land

Three in a row Rai manage to avoid such daring dangers while hanging on to the reckless mother warthog like crazy, continues it rampage throughout the woods until leaving out and rushing into the small riverflow. The stream scrambled fish about from the stomping hooves of the boar as it comes across upon several boulders to leap over, hoping that one of them would knock her off and crash her into the river stream.

Alright, out of the woods and into the clearing. Now all...!

Her words were cut short upon the rampaging mother Warhog launching up boulders over its head to scrape Rai off its back. And just when she thought the coast was clear... Anyway, thinking quickly, she would do her best to maneuver about them in hopes of not being struck down.

Rai's luck has finally ran out as the boulders bump the mother warthog tremendously with each reckless leap and dash. This easily knocked Rai off of the boar and crash into the boulders on landpoint, damaging her significantly upon impact. The mother boar turns around and continues it charge towards Rai with a menacing tackle towards her to add bonus damage along the way.

Warthog's HP: 25/35 (Damage from reckless collision)

After being dealt such a devastating blow Rai would have no choice but to get back up on her feet and face the mother Warhog, grunting with the pain felt from the boulders. She had thought that this would have happened eventually so hey, it was whatever.

Rai knew the habits of these kind of creatures a bit well from the past Warhogs fought and, anticipating it would do the same as them, she figured it was already preparing to charge at her. Unfortunately for her it was already on its way so she had to think quick, which is exactly what she did. She quickly equipped her dagger while attempting to roll dodge forward and to the right while also slashing across the mother Warhog's feet when it passed by.

The mother warthog recklessly charge towards Rai with great force to knock her down with a powerful tackle. She counters by dodge rolling away from the mother boar to avoid the attack, but wasn't able to completely dodge the hit in total. It rams her in the stomach with much force and knocks her away a few feet in distance while snorting loudly. This also interrupted her chance to attack as well. The beast was in a rampage with her still as it stomp it hooves a few times on the ground, readying to charge once more as it awaits her to stand back up.

The unsuccessful attempt to leap out of the way would land Rai face down in the silver grass clutching her stomach. It felt as if she'd just been punched there, but it didn't stop her from getting back up. No, the thought of losing to the best just didn't sit right. So, with her dagger in hand, she would stand to her feet while selecting a Healing Seed from her inventory to heal ten of her hp. With that done, she'd patiently wait for the boar to make her move, knowing it was unwise for her to do so first.

The mother warthog continued to stomp the ground and rev up its power some more while Rai heals herself with a Healing Seed. The item gets consumed by her and it tends to heal any minor wounds by ten of her HP, recovering and scars and dents around her body. The boar begins it attack by running headstrong towards her with its head down and tusk up high, charging for a Gore tackle to penetrate and damage her greatly.

Another predictable charge towards her had been made making Rai clutch her weapon tightly. She didn't have many options available to deal with it herself though and didn't want to risk another failed attempt at dodging considering the speed of the beast. Because of this, she would do as she did last time and brace herself for the boars' hit in exchange for it being slashed down the snout at the exact moment of impact. A small price to pay for her chances of damaging it significantly.

The give and take method successfully connects for both Rai and the mother warthog and both of their attacks clash on. Rai's slash on the snout would significantly damage the boar with heavy damage while the warthog's 'Gore' carries her away and tosses her on the ground off of its husk.  After it tossed Rai off, the boar faints from the lack of HP within itself, letting out a loud squeal before dissolving into the world. It releases the same orbs as before to signalize victory for Rai.

"I'll never get used to that..."

She spoke face down waiting to get up after hearing the mother Warhog's death cry which should completed one of the many quests she had. After get got herself together Rai would stand up and collect her spoils and then proceed to use two Healing Seeds seeing how low her HP was. It was a relaxing feeling to use them which was nice considering the pain felt when hit in this word, but that was enough standing around. It was now time to hunt down something more vicious and challenging; a Silver Wolf. She had heard that they held the item that she needed to acquire. Though there was always the possibility of running into something else as she continued her search throughout the Silver Plateau.

A jingle plays for Rai once the third warthog was completed, signalizing her that she fulfilled the necessary requirements for one of her quests to be completed and turned in for the reward. However, she ventures on for the hunt of a bigger prey since the warthogs wasn't quite enough to satisfy the challenge. She travels further down into the Sliver Plateau upon her quest to find the Silver Wolf, another vital enemy that has a key quest item for her to obtain. A couple of wild warthogs wanders about minding their own business, snuffing about for food and nothing else unless hostile into battle.

Rai comes across the grazing beasts yet pays them no mind as they are not her target any longer. Maybe if they had been more of a challenge then she'd have more of an incentive to fight them, but they didn't and so she continues her search of the Silver Wolf.

Rai continues further down the Silvergrass Plateau, entering the small woods once more to search out a wild Silver Wolf. Around the wispy woods she travel a bit steep within the distance which would show a scale in eyesight difference if she were to look back. A few more warthogs passes by during the time of her travels until she found one wild Silver Wolf wandering about. Its aggressive nature should heed caution upon approaching this creature.

Finally she'd found it; a lone Silver Wolf just ripe for the taking!~ Now it was time to stalk the prey before pouncing just as she did with the Warhogs. Then again, if these were modeled after normal wolves within the real world then there would be more just lurking about in the shadows.

Even though she was so excited to fight it, she couldn't just dismiss this thought and thus would dwell on it. It was a thought that would soon get the best of her, causing her to turn away from it and back in the direction of Raizen. At least she could go collect some beeswax.

Rai begins to backtrack away from the Silver Wolf and the woods back towards the direction where the Kingdom of Raizen is located. Around the time, the scenery shifts into a nightly view due to some hours passing by during her hunting spree. New enemies lurking about at night time and sometimes a few tougher ones lurking as well. Some of the trees begin to illuminate with a bright orange aura from the docile creatures known as the Scorch Spiders.

Rai stays on the path focusing mainly on her objective of reaching the Western Gate of Raizen. Still, she couldn't help but to somewhat appreciate the beautiful nighttime view. The glowing of the trees only added on to this as well as her curiosity. Not enough to approach them on her way back however.

When Rai took notice of the glow of the trees, a small description box would display nearby. If she were to approach it at a closer rate, it would show a description of the wax leaking from the tree while the spiders above continues to illuminate the bright glow. The detail of the wax reveal the beeswax material that she is looking for.

Now that's not something that looked to belong in the surroundings. Something Rai would definitely have to check out. Once she cautiously approached one of the trees in her path it would become clear to her what it was.

"Alright, I guess this is where I get the Beeswax for that quest."

She said, acquiring the material before continuing onward towards Raizen and hopefully without any trouble. Though maybe she stay out a bit longer and hunt down some more Warhogs. It was a good chance to get some more practice in.

She obtains the beeswax from the tree carefully without any disruption on the tree to disturb the spiders. A jingle plays out for her to signalize that she has fulfilled the necessary requirements for a quest she has in her log. Around the environment there would be a warthog consuming some water at a nearby river, quenching its thirst. Along the way, a Lizardman would lurk about with another one across the river on patrol duty given by their commanding leader as well.

Quite the pick of opponents Rai had available though, not being able to face of against the Silver Wolves, she wasn't really in the mood to take on something that looked like it could give her trouble. Because of this, she would opt for taking on the Warhog getting its fill of water. She attempted to approach as stealthy as last time though a bit quicker as to get things over with quickly.

As Rai swiftly sneaks cautiously towards the unaware warthog, it would feel an unknown presence around it while releasing a snort of sort. Seeing that the presence was just a hunch upon itself the boar continues to drink up the water resource. She became in position for a preemptive strike against the beast which allows her to grant for a major bonus in the critical strike if hit precisely during the time.

And that she did! With the boar dismissing the presence and now unaware of her presence Rai thought this to be the perfect time to strike. Like a stalking lion, she would pounce on the target and aim to swiftly pierce its body without regret. She'd come accustom to these slayings quite quickly.

The piercing strike was a sudden blow to the Warthog's vital organs. The surprise attack was so devastating that the boar literally dropped dead in one clean hit. No bleed or any loud noise all together that could grab the attention of the two Lizardman patrolling around. Just plain drop dead. At the same time, Rai obtains her experience and has heard a loud fanfare along with it. A ray of light beams down on her for a brief moment, signaling her that she has leveled up.

How amazing to relish in the success of such a stealthy kill. Even more amazing was the reward given to her by the feat. As the tune accompanied the light shining down on her, Rai would move on to collect the drop before quickly opening the menu.

Looks like I've finally reached the next level!~ Now, let me adjust these points...

She thought, making sure to take notice of the patrolling Lizard Men lurking about. Once that was taken care of she would continue onward, attempting to dash around the Lizard Men in hopes that they did not follow.

The Lizardmen continues to patrol within the area, making sure that nothing would get past their sight. One of them realize Rai running about and let out a loud growl, alerting its partner that they have a prime target to take down. The duo began to chase after Rai with their weapons out to interrupt her fleeing attempt. It is now a matter of choice whether to fight or flight a little while longer.
